An Orthodox Evening Prayer
Lord, our God, forgive me for any sin committed this day whether in words, in acts or in thought, for You are good and a friend to men.
Grant me a peaceful and tranquil sleep: send me an angel to watch over me and protect me from all ill, for You are the keeper of our soul and our body.
We give you glory, Father and Son and Holy Spirit
now and always to the end of time.
Amen
Prayer According to Saint Silouan the Athonite:
Lord, he who doesn’t love his enemies doesn’t know you. You are the Creator of all things and You take pity on all, even when they take the wrong path, even when they commit evil.
Give peace and prosperity to all peoples, deliver them from all evil, grant that they may know your love, which never forgets its creature.
Allow that I may remain in hell, in order to pray for all sinners, but give me also the grace to never despair of You and of your creatures.
An Exorcistic Prayer for Orthodox Baptisms:
Lord and Master, open the eyes of our conscience; grant us an angel of light who will
deliver us from any intrigues of the enemy, from the encounter of the Devil, the noonday demon, the perverse imaginings.
Chase far from us the spirit of error and wickedness, the spirit of idolatry and avarice, the spirit of untruthfulness and impurity, which come to us under the inspiration of the Devil.
May your eyes look upon us with kindness and your ears hear our prayers so that we may dwell forever in the Joy of our Master.
