Lord, We Often Feel So Small

Lord, we often feel so small, so incapable. But you are there, and you trust us. You accept us as we are with our qualities and our faults. Then we feel we are heard, loved and respected.

Lord, make us mindful of those around us. In our turn, let us go toward those who are alone, discouraged, looked down upon. Put on our lips the words that will bring joy, forgiveness and hope.

Open our hands so they can receive and give signs of peace, of tenderness and of friendship.

Lord, it is your Spirit which leads us, which fortifies us, which invigorates us and gives us the courage to stand on our feet. It is your Spirit which daily turns us into witnesses of your love.
