Lord, remember

Lord, when you come again in your glory,
Do not remember only men of good will.
Remember likewise men of ill will.
But do not then remember their cruelty, their ill treatment, their acts of violence.
Recall rather the good that we have brought forth because of what they did.
Remember the patience of some, the courage of others, the humility
The greatness of the soul, the faithfulness that they awoke in us.
And grant, Lord, that the good that we have brought forth may one day be (the price of) their redemption.
